So now that teachers unions are demanding the defunding of police because of the bad behavior of a small percentage of their members, does that mean they agree that we should defund public institutions when they continue to not meet our expectations year after year? Wonder what group would be first on the chopping block if such a thing was true..... It's not like people have been calling for the busting of teachers' unions for decades or anything.

"The Racism of the Gaps" is every bit as illogical, ideologically dishonest, and anti-enlightenment as "The God of the Gaps."

For those not aware, the current argument for why everything is racist (their "reasoning" shifts depending on their whims at the moment) is that while they can't point to any specific policy or action by the system that is racist which has not long ago been fixed, inequality of outcome is nonetheless present. Thus, says their twisted logic, any inequality in outcome is automatically attributable to racism in the lack, and often even in the presence of evidence.

This is exactly the same kind of circular logic used to try and defend the "objective evidence" for proof of God's existence, divinity, and power.
