Today, the famous MMORPG Lost Ark developers will release a new update aimed at combating bots. Recall that SmileGate reported more than a million banned accounts at the beginning of the month, but it seems that these measures are still not enough. On Steam, there is the concept of verified accounts - these can be considered accounts of users who have made purchases for $ 5 or more. Otherwise, the account remains restricted in rights. Starting today, all owners of such accounts will lose access to many features in Lost Ark. In particular. They will not be able to participate in trading with other players, send in-game gifts, exchange crystals for gold, or send in-game letters with attachments. At the same time, SmileGate noted that it had made several changes and improvements to the built-in anti-cheat. We note that at 10:00 Moscow time, the game servers will be closed for maintenance related to the installation of the update. The procedure is expected to take about eight hours.
