At conferences, I frequently see role players with long wigs. Of course, if the character has one meter long bright pink hair, a wig may be the most effective way to imitate this hair. Unfortunately, I've also come across some role players who aren't entirely sure how to properly care for their wigs so that they look their best when they're wearing them.

5 suggestions for keeping cosplay wigs in good condition
First and foremost, you should consider whether you will be required to attend the meeting with long hair. The day of cosplay is very exciting, and it can also be very busy, so prepare to sweat profusely. As a result of friction and other destructive factors, such as the wind and transportation in B. pocket, synthetic hair will become rough. The same things apply on conference days - only they're more powerful! Wigs quickly become resentful of this treatment, which makes it all the more important to take good care of them. So, if you decide to wear a long wig, here are some nursing tips that will help you keep your Cosplay wig in good condition for a long period of time:

1. Tie the wig in a bun.
When you leave the house, braid your long wig into a tight bun. Aside from preventing hair from being tangled by static electricity and from stretching out as a result of friction with clothing, hairspray also has other benefits. On the other hand, it helps to reduce the likelihood of extinction. If you can't braid it, at the very least braid it twice. You can loosen the braid and show off your beautiful hair when taking photographs.

2. While traveling to the general assembly
You should bring your bags with you so that they don't rub against your wigs. If you carry your hair back in a backpack, for example, it can be quite detrimental, if not harmful, to your wig. Friction damages the structure of sensitive synthetic hair. Make sure your hair is combed forward and that your clothing has matching pockets.

3. Death traps are a real thing. Velcro is a type of fastening system.
Make use of as few velcros as possible, and make certain that there is no glue residue on your clothes or other belongings. Wigs can easily become stuck or adhere to them, and the worst case scenario is soiling. At the end of the year, you do not want your wig to look like this:

4. Brush your hair with a wig brush.
Make sure your wig is combed. However, avoid using a comb for this as it will charge your hair. There is a genuine wig brush * available, which is made of special materials and will not cause static electricity to be generated in the hair while combing it. My personal recommendation is to purchase an ion brush*. This is an electric brush that, as you comb your wig, draws the charge out of it. I have been able to save some expensive wigs thanks to my Bolang brush, and I am extremely grateful to her.

5. Taking good care also entails proper storage.
After the conference, you should clean up your wig because storage is an important part of wig maintenance and upkeep. When you purchase a wig, you will usually receive a resealable plastic bag as well as a thin hair net that will be wrapped around the wig. Please do not discard this package. Always pack your valuable Cosplay wig in a protective case before shipping it and when storing it at home. This is the most effective way to protect the wig from damage, dust, and mites. When wearing a long hair wig, you should twist your hair in advance of rearranging it. I also only twist some wigs from the outside, which is effective when the job needs to be completed quickly.
