"Path of Exile 2" will not be released until sometime next year, but "Grinding Gear Games" adds to our wounds: The new quarterly expansion of "Path of Exile" will be launched for free next Friday, April 16. This new challenge alliance is called Ultimatum. It re-examines Vaal, one of the most iconic factions of PoE, while allowing players to play the Double or Nothing version full of loot and monsters.
During the Ultimatum League (which will last about three months), any newly promoted character will often encounter Trialmaster, a new NPC and messenger of the God of Chaos. He will challenge you to participate in the initial simple arena battle, and tell you exactly what bonus you want to fight for. At the end of each round, he will provide you with a chance to choose and draw a lottery, or choose a new modifier (faster enemies, more obstacles, attribute restrictions) and perform a more difficult round to get the POE Currency, plus a new one.
These battles may seem extremely difficult, because all selected modifiers will continue to work until you clear the highest difficulty, tap or die like a greedy fool. However, these rewards seem to be worth the pain. Obviously, Grinding Gear aims to allow players to really use their luck. In the process of pursuing a large number of rare items, they may get nothing.
Players who manage to maintain a full ten rounds will get a "special surprise" in the final round. Although the demo video does not explain exactly what this means, as an experienced POE player, I think this means that we will face some new boss battles against ultimatum tim. Over the years, given that the quality of game boss designs has improved significantly, this is what I am looking forward to. Boss fights are very similar to what you see in MMO today, and different stages and complex attacks must be avoided (or mitigated). Buy POE Currency can give you an advantage in the entire game.
