Rios is AWESOME, but he is from precisely the exact same pack as Bieber/Alexander and I thought those guys were pretty killer for the limited lineup/pen. But yeah, that card fuckin' rakes. It always annoys me that the announcers do not say his name, though! And yeah, the POTM stuff is another fantastic option, but I made it out of the manual as it's a longer grind than one pair of minutes for MLB 21 the show stubs not a ton of extra gain, even though they may be Prestiged. Really, at this point in the calendar year, I believe Belli is the only POTM that I'd recommend, plus maybe Didi should they suck with Bo. Obviously, that may all change if you need to gather all of the POTM men to acquire something mad later on.
Speed demons are excellent but I can not steal a base without getting thrown out no matter how great their ratings are. Can anyone provide and insight as to the way to steal correctly? Also some bunting tips are fine too.Don't slip against the computer till you've got at least two Balls. I usually only put Speed Demons into get round the bases quicker, not to slip. Stretch 1st to 3rd or even home, etc.Don't do the any aggressive baserunning inputs until the pitcher comes set. In instance holding the button that is lean or holding the Stealing buttons actual early and releasing them. There's a hypothesis that the CPU will tell constantly when you try to steal. Like it knowingly reads your preemptive inputs.Goddamn cpu. I understood they were cheating haha.
And get prepared to become douchefied, with jackasses pausing, stopping, slipping into early, bunting, asking for prestige aid, and asking for favorable quitsYeah, don't accept a Friendly Quit if you are winning. It's not delivered with The Real Spirit of Friendship.
He dots.He looks pretty solid. 94 Control/96 Break looks nasty, but just 3 pitches makes me hesitant, especially only topping out in 78 Velo. But I could definitely see how casting the offspeed a few times could set up some fine dots.Yes he could dot with the fastball to set up and buy MLB The Show 21 Stubs after that dot a slider low-and-away vs RHP. He does not Appear to have the variance in place that other stars have since his windup is very easy to time (which IMO is exactly what makes guys like Hendricks and Osuna so useful - simple timing)
