I'm one of Animal Crossing Items those people. Got tired of this game around 150 hours. Too too much friction with the crafting system, too much content cut to be trickled later in upgrades, and too much of the character of previous payments is gone. I liked the string for the simulation components greater than the customization, and NH was clearly not made for players like me.

What do you believe to be trimmed content/missing beyond gyroids?

And 150 hours is -a lot. - I don't mean to be an ass, it is just difficult to fathom someone putting significantly more time in preceding entries for reasons beyond it had been merely a fresher experience at the time, or other conditions.

In addition, I don't want to discount your preferences, but I simply can't personally see what made previous entries magnitudes better.

Then that complaint also applies to the other games except maybe the first. Every time a new AC comes people examine the old game's villagers with rose tinted glasses. I also feel like people are missing/ignoring the new dialogue added each month ingame and the simple fact that villagers will typically say something special if you talk to them more than 2-3 times. It's not like old games did not have the problems of dialogue repeating villagers of the identical kind feeling like the same person.

The situational conversation the first 2-3 times is definitely the worst part of speaking to villagers and most likely why people think that they don't have any personality. The funny and interesting dialog being concealed behind it makes it tedious sometimes. I really don't care that someone watched me burying cash again yesterday, I want to hear about Cheap Nook Miles Ticket your wacky antics!
