This week, Capcom provided ComicBook with an in-depth look at some of the brand-new content available in Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak. Our preview showed a group of hunters taking on one of the monsters, Lunagaron which was then followed by one hunter in an entirely new type of Follower Quest. Lunagaron is a new kind of monster to be found in the Monster Hunter franchise that resembles something like a dragon and a wolf.
Lungaron could be an extremely difficult game for players, which is why the Switch Skill system overhaul should prove beneficial. Previously players were able to switch between a Switch Skill when they hunted changing their weaponry and making it possible to play with a variety of play styles.
With Daybreak, players can now create two sets of Switch Skills and swap between them in fights. This allows players to test out a variety of combos and playstyles while fighting. Additionally, players can use a Swap Evade while using the Switch Skill Swap to stop monster attacks that are poorly timed.
While multiplayer remains the preferred method to play Monster Hunter Rise, the new Follower Quest will provide solo players with a new option for trying to complete quests. Follower Quests allow an NPC to be a part of certain fights, while also advancing sidesplots cheap diablo 2 resurrected items. Capcom has stated that additional Follower Quests will be made available in the future, which will allow the NPCs of the game gain the chance to shine.
