All the teams' pickaxes are rushing to get that ore within the colossal rock. You will understand when you win when the gigantic rock gets smashed and giant shards of your team's colour are flying everywhere.

The rewards you get depend on how well you played, even if your team loses. The rewards are bits of the giant rock's shards and maybe some ores. If you played well by assisting your group a lot, you will make a lot of shards and perhaps get some ores such as adamantite. If did basically nothing in the whole duration of this mini-game, you would not too many shards and likely would not receive any ores.

If your team loses and you tried your best, you would get some shards, also. Like the Fist of Guthix token, these shards could be traded in the reward shop for particular eyeglasses, special boots, or maybe special handles for your own pickaxe Buy OSRS Fire Cape.
