The frequency that you play a complete wash group in comp is very high

Pro am just does not function as a mode. You wait a half hour for a NBA 2K21 match and then play with a team which you blow out by 40 anyways. The waiting because 2k's busted matchmaking system, but yeah you get those blowouts but at least its rated, and a set 5 versus another set 5, not a pair 5 running zone and an offensive set contrary to 5 randoms where generally just 1 or 2 is even any good. You occasionally run to a comparable level of self respecting playing rec because you perform in MT 2K21 comp but you do not have to wait 30+ minutes to perform. Those put 5's conduct into other set 5's all the time in bars.

The frequency that you play a complete wash group in comp is very high -- it's just like playing a group of randoms in rec in which you win by 40 but you had to wait for a half hour to play them and then you want to wait another half an hour to literally play the specific same group. My buddies and I used to wait out those games because we actually wanted to play with good comp and we did this for like two decades but it's just not worth it. I'm not arguing the wait time being absurd, it certainly is and that I understand the frustrations of not needing to restart your team every 20-30 games so that you can get quick matchups.

But at exactly the exact same time you are more inclined to play a much better team in proam than you are in Rec. The 5 individual wannabe comp teams in rec are honestly ass 99% of their time. We see it all of the time playing against the 5 individual elite teams, its hilarious. It's just a problem because those 5 individual Elite teams, no matter how bad they are, are going to conquer any type of randoms. 2k is mostly to blame for these teams moving to rec because of the horrible matchmaking in proam needless to say. However, if we are being honest that the dudes such as in OP's screenshot are probably all typical players that beat up on randoms in many dickish manners possible (Zone Defense, Offensive Place ) and are exactly the very same sorts of guys that will start flopping when up.

That type of stuff is pitiful tbh. All the best teams we've played have been in Proam, no doubt. If im playing rec with 2-3 of my buddies it is no competition, and we've never seen a group of these kind of dudes come close in skill to higher grade proam teams. The men in this screenshot are probably pretty crap and are never going to get to even pro-bronze. A random group of like two ace 1 players and amateur-whatever players may regularly beat these kinds of teams so long as the am players do not completely sell NBA 2K21 (which realistically does happen all of the time).

Because you have pro am experience -- you know that a lot of teams such as this are only going to start yelling at one another and entirely selling NBA 2K21 before the end of this first quarter and then everyone is just going to get off NBA 2K21 and not speak to each other for 2 days. For years, this subreddit enjoys making titles like"too fearful to play with comp" without ever really getting a five collectively and trying to play pro am as ordinary players. You can see from what folks are saying they don't have any idea what ace am resembles or what is actually happening when folks are getting a group of Buy NBA 2K21 MT Coins five collectively for rec. The subreddit is a lot of amateur 1 players who play solo.
